Vogue Italia has just launched their new sub-sites Vogue Black and Vogue Curvy. These two new sites will focus on news, fashion and beauty in each field.

Though the attempt to add more diversity to Vogue is appreciated and welcomed, why is there a need to separate  them from the parent site? The same articles that are to be featured in the new sites could have been placed in Vogue Italia. Through Vogue’s attempt to evoke change they segregated the two domains even more so than before.

Nevertheless, Vogue Black is set to feature model Tyra in an exclusive video interview while Vogue Curvy will feature model Crystal Renn and actress America Ferrera.
